To help make sure our wonderful Wallapop community stays a safe place, certain behaviors are not allowed. We have developed our Prohibited Conduct Policy to prevent any abuse and to protect our users from conduct that may cause harm to their experience of using Wallapop. We are committed to a secure environment where everyone can enjoy the buying and selling experience without issues. Let's work together to keep Wallapop safe for all.
Remember that all users and content must be compliant with our Community Guidelines and our Terms and Conditions of Use and our Privacy Policy. Otherwise, the listing or user account will be deactivated and no one will be able to see it. Also, keep in mind that we do not allow illegal stuff.
We reserve the right to redetermine what behavior is not allowed within Wallapop. If we discover that certain behavior violates our terms, we may remove content or ban accounts, even if they’re not listed below.
Your behavior must follow Wallapop policy. Otherwise, a range of actions can be imposed including ending or canceling listings or account suspension. Fees paid or payable in relation to listings or accounts on which we take any action may not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.

- Stay on the right side of the law; fraudulent or illegal behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Be kind and respectful to others, and use appropriate language. Harassing and bullying are not permitted.
- Adult, obscene, or vulgar behavior is strictly prohibited. This encompasses soliciting, offering sexual favors or materials, sexual harassment, and similar actions.
- Don't engage in spamming or other disruptive behaviors.
- Don't misuse Wallapop features or promotions.
- Engaging in any prohibited profile content behavior is not permitted.
- Other prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to pyramid scheme activity, selling defective items or repeatedly standing up agreed upon sell or buy appointments.
The following is a list of actions Wallapop restricts users from participating in. Please click on each specific policy to see more details, since the short description provided on this page might not contain all the information. We may update our list of Prohibited Conduct from time to time.
Fraudulent or Illegal activity
We take fraud and illegal activity very seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy.
The following are prohibited behaviors:
- Violating any law or regulation.
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others in communications.
- Sharing misleading or malicious communications.
- Attempting to access Wallapop through unauthorized means or interfering with its security features.
Wallapop welcomes people of all backgrounds to interact while buying, selling, and exchanging their goods. There’s no room for harassment, bullying or any offensive conduct.
The following are prohibited behaviors:
- Offensive language or jokes.
- Violence.
- Bullying.
We prioritize user safety and respect, strictly prohibiting sexual harassment and explicit or obscene behaviour.
- Unwelcome conduct of adult sexual nature
- Attacks using derogatory terms related to sexual activities
- Sexual offering or any sexual-related offering.
- Users selling sex related products or publishing other listings described in our Adult or Obscene Content Policy
- Fetishism and related behaviour.
Don’t spam. This includes writing multiple messages or unsolicited promotions to sellers or buyers or continuously posting multiple listings of the same item.
The following are prohibited behaviors:
- Multi-account spam.
- Unsolicited promotions.
- Listing spam.
Misuse of Features and Promotions
It is strictly prohibited to misuse Wallapop features and promotions in order to bypass restrictions or engage in behavior that manipulates or undermines the integrity of the platform. Including but not limited to:
- Shipping Service.
- Payments.
- Dispute Service.
- Promotions.
- Reports.
- Reviews.
- Accounts.
- Listings.
You can let your creativity flow when creating a profile in Wallapop. However, displaying certain content is not allowed. Displaying the following is prohibited:
- Using the Wallapop name or image.
- Inclusion of personal contact details in profile or profile image.
- Profile photos or names that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Includes offensive or vulgar profile names, and profile images.
- Adding links to profile descriptions or images.
- Visual content related to an individual under the age of 18 in a compromising situation.
Note: Displaying some attributes might only be available for PRO users.
Here are some other prohibited conducts that are not allowed:
- Repeatedly publish listings that violate our policies.
- Accounts dedicated to promoting or selling products or services associated with Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, direct sales, or similar services.
- Selling defective products.
- Repeatedly failing to show up at appointments agreed upon between the seller and the buyer.
- Promote external websites, applications or services that are not offered by Wallapop.
Report inappropriate behavior
Thank you for being part of our community and for working with us to ensure that Wallapop is a safe place for all users. We will continue to iterate, improve and work hard to enforce our policies, and we know our work is never done.
If you notice or experience any of the behaviors mentioned above, you have the means to report it to us. Our team will assess each and every case and, if necessary, take action.
