Wallapop is a community of people. And a wonderful one at that. To help make sure it stays a safe place, one where everyone is respected, certain behaviours are not allowed. It may seem like a no-brainer, but it’s always worth reminding ourselves.
Prohibited behaviour
When communicating with someone via Wallapop chat, the following is prohibited:
- Insulting or teasing.
- Harassing or making threats.
- Making references that may offend others; racism or homophobia, for example, are wholly unacceptable.
- Making sexual or suggestive comments.
Remember that your username and profile photo must also comply with the Wallapop guidelines. For example, you can’t use the name “Wallapop” or the Wallapop brand logo. You also cannot use a phone number as a name. In these cases, they will be replaced by a default username and profile picture.
Please also note that for the safety of all Wallapop users, it is not allowed to send external links to Wallapop via chat.
Failure to comply with our community guidelines may result in your account being deactivated. If you do not agree with any of the measures taken, please get in touch via the button you’ll find below so that we can review your case.

Your help is essential to the community – don’t doubt it! If you notice or experience any of the behaviours mentioned above, you have the means to report it to us. Our team will assess each and every case and, if necessary, take action.
