What are Wallapop´s Community Guidelines?
At Wallapop, our top priority is keeping our users safe and happy. To make sure everyone's on the same page, we've set up some rules and policies that we expect all of our users to follow. We're talking about basic etiquette users are expected to follow, safety measures, and the actions we will take to protect them if a problem arises.

2. User Best Practice
The goal of these user best practices is to foster a positive and respectful community where everyone feels comfortable and safe. While these might not directly result in an account suspension on Wallapop, we do encourage all users to bear them in consideration:
Interact with courtesy and respect
We love healthy debates and discussions here, but let's keep it respectful and courteous. Everyone is welcome. Remember that everyone brings different experiences, interests, and knowledge to the table. Please refrain from using profanity, hate speech, or attacking others while interacting with fellow users as well as with Wallapop support agents. It is not appropriate to target individuals with complaints about unpurchased items or to pressure sellers or buyers into making transactions. Let's create a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Communication is key
We know that sometimes things don't go according to plan, and that's totally okay. If you change your mind about an offer, don't stress - just let the seller know in time in a polite and respectful way. That way, they can work with other buyers to find the perfect match for their item or service.
If you've already agreed to sell your item to someone else, make sure to mark the item as reserved to give potential buyers a heads-up, so they can continue their search.
If you're running late to meet someone, keep them updated, so they know what's going on. Remember, communication is key, and it's always best to keep the other person in the loop.
Safety first
Keep yourself safe in your interactions with others. Remember: While the option for face-to-face meetings remains available, it's imperative that such interactions are arranged exclusively through the platform's official app or web channels. Otherwise, selling of items should only take place within the Wallapop platform, communication, sales, and shipping should also be done through it. Please see Wallapop Security Help Center Page for some helpful tips.
Keep your listings up to date
It’s important to keep your listings updated as much as possible. Be honest and accurate about item descriptions and prices, and make sure to add proof of authenticity whenever possible.
When a listing is reserved or sold, be sure to mark it as such. Additionally, if you no longer have the item available, or you have changed your mind about selling, make sure you update or delete the listing to avoid any confusion.
Keep negotiations fair
Negotiating and bargaining can be tons of fun, but let's keep things fair. You don't want to cause frustrations or come off as rude or unprofessional by making crazy-low offers for a listing. So, let's keep things respectful and reasonable for everyone involved.
